This weekend was the fourth stop on the WKA Florida State Championship series schedule held in Ocala. It was originally scheduled for Moroso but there was some scheduling conflict. But I didn't mind much because Ocala's my home track.

I arrived at OGP around noon with my friend, who just started racing, since my dad was not able to come. The configuration schedule for this weekends race was the backwards regular track. I didn't practice until about 5 or 6 because that was going to be the time of when we would be racing on Saturday

On Saturday the gates opened around 9:00 but no one could get on the track until 1:30.Chris Grektorp and Dave and Marty From TS-Racing where all helping me this weekend to make it a little easier for me on Saturday

Qualifying: I Qualified 2nd to my friend Jacob Duvall only 2 tenths ahead. In the Pre-final I had a plan to actually stay behind Jacob Just so he wouldn't see what I had for him going into the final. The Final was when my plan would come into play; my tires came in a little late so I had to wait until half way to actually pull off the pass. So after that I was just focusing on hitting my marks and being consistent. On the last lap after coming out of the sweeper Jacob got a run going into the tree turn which we went in side by side after that it was a drag race to the next turn which happened to be a right-hander and I just happen to have the in side which gave me the lead and the WIN !.

All and all it was a clean race and just happened to be the best race of the day so they told me, and it was good for the championship.
